Want list-WonFes2010

let the records show that this WonFes was the most epic of all WonFes’ in recorded history!

this is not so much a coverage post but a list of the stuffs that i want the most and my commentary on them

For starters, this was inevitable…many people have begged and their prayers have been answered.  I for one am very excited to have a rival for Black Rock Shooter in the works! Gives me lots of Idea for Picture’s and what not since im going to start practicing my photography.

they also announced a Dead Master figma

since we are on the topic of Dead Master, Good Smile also revealed this Dead Master scaled figure (as an opposite to the first Black Rock Shooter figure than Good Smile did).  I really love this version and i can’t wait til GSC starts taking pre-orders for her.  I was completely sold by the base and her scythe (i have a thing for scythe’s)

GSC also announced another scaled Dead master figure:

I actually don’t like this version AT ALL…lots of people seem to like it but it hasn’t sold me yet.  It looks extremely unnatural and much more boring than the other version.  Maybe i’ll change my mind when they show her colored.

it’s Based on the Black Rock Shooter Anime that is coming out this year and it will be the opposite to this:

i knew i was going to get this the second i saw it’s prototype.  This is GSC’s second Scaled Black Rock Shooter Figure and she is must more Dynamic/Epic/Cooler than the first.  Although the face doesn’t leave much to be desired i have come to accept Black Rock Shooter’s monotonous expressions.

Speaking of Monotonous Expressions, GSC also revealed a colored prototype for the Black Rock Shooter Nendoroid…WANT!WANT!WANT! I remember when most people heard about BRS they wanted a Nendo of her so bad and it seemed like we were never going to get one…but here she is! in the flesh, errr…Plastic!

GSC also announced Love+ Nendoroids.  I have never played Love+ nor do i ever plan to but the Nendo’s of them look very cute although they are somewhat plain.  Lets hope it doesn’t take them 9000 years to announce them for pre-order like they did for the Kodomo no Jikan trio….and Lucchini Francesca (who also had her striker pose revealed at Wonfes btw)

Another thing that took me by surprise were these two.  Nendo’s from the new Haruhi movie, The Dissapearance of Haruhi Suzumiya or (Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoshitsu)

They are Based off of the following artwork:

I’ve always wanted a figure of Long-haired Haruhi-sama…but a nendoroid is even BETTER.  As for Yuki-chan i really did not expect for her to get a Nendoroid but i am very excited about it!

This lovely lady was also revealed at Wonfes.  Her name is Feena Fam Earthlight, I had seen a few figures of her in scaled form before but i didn’t realize that she had such potential to be a lovely Nendoroid.  Needless to say i am very…VERY excited about her and i am looking forward to seeing her different facial expressions as well as her accessories.  She is slated for a June release date, but we know how that goes….

When i saw this there were a lot of emotions running through my mind.  I’ll admit that i said “What the Fuck” out loud when i saw this.  I’m sure this news took a lot of people by surprise, many upset, many looking forward to it.  At this point i’m not sure what side i fall on, while i do love Disney…a Mickey Mouse nendoroid? I’ll wait for more photo’s until i decide whether i want him or not.

Also shown at Wonder Festival was the Colored Prototypes of the Second Bakemonogatari Petit set (MAYOI <3!)…

…and the Prototypes for the Third Bakemonogatari Petit set.  Really excited to see them do this because i was looking forward to a Shinobu Nendoroid, Karen and Tsukihi are nice as well.

While we are on the Subject of Bakemonogatari…a lovely 1/8th scale Hitagi was revealed to be in the works by Good Smile Company.  I’m glad that Good smile decided to make a figure of this pose, although it looks so fragile. I’m afraid if i touch it, it’ll break.  I’m sure GSC knows what they’re doing though.

Good Smile released a teaser image for an upcoming figure a few days before WonFes started.   Love is War Miku was the figure.  This Figure is HUGE!

for size comparison: Meltdown Rin (left) is 1/8th scale (a little over 8 inches), Moon Miku (right) is 1/8th scale (a little over 10 inches).  Needless to say Love is War Miku is going to be HUGE, and she is also going to take a HUGE chunk out of our wallets…i look forward to it ;D

When i saw this i “HNNNNNNNNNG”ed.  The moment i saw Momohime in Muramasa i knew they were going to make a figure of her.  Just look at her, how can they not?! I was however, skeptical about her pose.  I think she turned out lovely and she’s being done by ALTER so that is a huge PLUS.  She is slated for a July release date.

Last but not least is this EPIC Aegis figure being done by Cospa.  I have no experience with Cospa so I’m hoping she turns out nice.  And i must say…So Far, So Good, loving the smoke details coming from her fingers as well as the falling barrel, not to mention that base!  DO WANT!

for those of you who know me, which i assume is not very many of you, i lurrrrrv SNSD (Girl’s Generation)

i’ve been listening to their new song Oh! pretty much non-stop since it came out.

i wasn’t too crazy about it at first but it’s really grown on me!  and i will admit, it didn’t leave as big of an impact on me as Genie or Gee did.  For those of you who like SNSD you should pick up their album…CAUSE IT’S OUT!

Has been a while since i entered the Blogosphere, i would love to return and give you post’s about appealing things that appeal to me. So let’s make this post the official post of officialdom…ness.  I am returning with my take on news, current events and animu related issues…HOPEFULLY!

My Kuroshitsuji Season 2 prediction [spoilers]

Before i begin i would like to make it very clear that this post is riddled with spoilers

Based on the picture above i predict that…

…in the process of claiming Ciel’s soul, Sebastian must transfer his conscious into Ciel’s body, therefore living as Sebastian Michaelis in the body of Ciel Phantomhive.  After this happens i believe the story can move in two different directions.  Ciel[Sebastian] will either go back to London or another part of the world.  If Ciel[Sebastian] moves to another part of the world he will serve a new master and the story will be about that.  If Ciel[Sebastian] goes to London he will serve under the royal family and the story will be about the rebuilding of London and so forth as well as the corrupt undertones of the church of England.  The main reason i came to this conclusion was due to the infamous quote “im one hell of a butler…” .  As well as how Sebastian repeatedly told Ciel that he would be there to the very end, until he heard checkmate(PLUS…a dead Sebby is just oh-so-sad).  Sebastian also raised Ciel, keeping him fit and healthy, possibly in preparation of taking his body for his own?  I also predict that this season will delve more into the past of Sebastian, as well as flashbacks of the previous Master’s he had served….

Now this is merely speculation, my imagination was running wild so i decided to post it.  As i have said before this is merely speculation, just a fan giving his 2 cents…

At the very end, Sebastian continued to be a one hell of a butler. As the time of Ciel’s death drew near that was something that remained unchanged.

Through his fading consciousness, the last thing Ciel lays eyes on, is the black-tea colored eyes of Sebastian who is approaching while smiling suspiciously…

A loyal servant of the Queen of Great Britain. The young head of the Phantomhive house called the Queen’s Watchdog, and the master of a contract with the demon Sebastian. In front of the eternally resting Sebastian, what will he feel, what will he grieve?

As if traveling towards death, nostalgic days were reflected on the water’s surface. Surrounding Ciel at one time, were servant who wouldn’t be quiet even if you asked, and also a warm family.

Sebastian softly runs his hands over the eyepatch of Ciel, who’s accepted [what's about to happen]. Since the way he touches him seems somehow meaningful, there were probably alot of very excited people.

My Trip to Las Vegas (2009)

well, this isnt really anime or figure related but recently i took a road trip to Las Vegas

I live in San Francisco, California and Vegas is in Nevada.  Its about a 12 hour drive but we drove really really really fast so we got there in about 8.  We left Thursday July 9th at around 2am and we returned Sunday July 12th at around 10pm.  I had A LOT of fun and i took A LOT of pictures

twas fun, we also got pulled over by a nasty cop

FanimeCon 2009

Well it has been a while since i have made an entry but this past memorial day weekend i went to FanimeCon (The con i mentioned a few months back) Twas Fun, lots of MOE cosplay, lots of EEEEW cosplay, so here is a gallery

also made out with lots of nice loot from the dealers hall

ordered her a while back but the order was cancelled, glad i found one here…however the prong on her helmet fell off as soon as i opened it @_@, oh well…nothing super glue cant fix

Have been procrastinating for a while on getting a Scaled Louise Figure, so this was my first one.  A very nice figure but i did break her wand when i opened it (CURSES!!!, its not that bad though)

ANDDD Limit Gunz just cause shes so f’ing amazing!!!!

This one was quite an impulse buy, but i had to have it because i love Nagi-sama so!!!(got her from the Toyslogic booth)

Then i saw Zange, she was only $40 USD so i had to get her!!!

(NOW I HAVE TO GET TSUGUMI!!! URGGHHH)

I also picked up LaLa from ToysLogic as Well, been meaning to get her for a while now, PLUSSS the figure was discounted because the box was damaged

Seeing as how i would have a lovely Kureha Nendo awaiting me when i returned home, i thought i should get a Lovely Kureha PVC figure ^_^

last but not least is the Beautiful Gothic Punk Louise figure, wanted her when i first saw her pre-orders open but then forgot about her >_>, Lucky enough ToysLogic had her so i had to buy!!!

i also came home to 3 beautiful nendoroids at my doorstep; Kureha, Nagi and Kagamin Coplayed as Miku (what an appropriate time to cosplay kagamine!!! ^_^)

Twas a great weekend filled with good anime, good figures, good cosplay, and GREAT friends…EXCEPT for the part when we went to Johnny Rockets and the stupid Bleach cosplayers ate all of our goddamn food, and the part when i was trying to order pizza for two hours only to find out they had closed 3 hours earlier!!!

other than that i had an amazing time at famine09 and i cant wait to go back next year ^_^

I must say she does kinda look like a kit, Black ★ Rock Shooter had some kit-esque qualities when i first laid eyes on her as well
